Methodology — how we evaluate financial products

Kreddo.pl applies a transparent methodology based on objective financial criteria. Rankings are created on the basis of product parameters (APR, fees, cashback), without affiliate remuneration influencing position. Data is updated every month.

Our values

Kreddo.pl is an independent financial product comparison portal. Our mission is to help people make informed financial decisions through reliable comparisons, transparent rankings and financial education.

We are guided by three principles:

  • Independence — affiliate remuneration does not affect ranking position
  • Transparency — we publish evaluation criteria and data sources
  • Currency — data is updated every month, and immediately when changes occur

How we create rankings

Every ranking on Kreddo.pl is based on a multi-criteria scoring evaluation. Below we describe the methodology for each product category.

We evaluate non-bank loans according to the following criteria:

  • APR (30%) — Annual Percentage Rate, the main indicator of loan cost
  • Accessibility (20%) — borrower requirements, minimum age, documents
  • Disbursement speed (20%) — time from application to receipt of funds
  • Flexibility (15%) — option to extend, early repayment, range of amounts
  • Company credibility (15%) — KNF registration, customer reviews, time on the market

Cash loans

  • APR (30%) — total loan cost per year
  • Nominal interest rate (20%) — base rate affecting the instalment amount
  • Commission (20%) — one-off fee for granting the loan
  • Flexibility (15%) — range of amounts and periods, option for overpayments
  • Application process (15%) — online availability, decision time

  • Cashback (25%) — percentage of transaction value returned
  • Interest-free period (20%) — length of free purchase financing
  • Credit limit (15%) — maximum available amount
  • Additional benefits (15%) — insurance, loyalty programmes

  • Claims handling (15%) — speed and quality of claim settlement
  • Customer reviews (10%) — average rating from trusted sources

Data sources

We obtain comparison data from the following sources:

  • Official websites of banks and lending companies
  • Fee and commission schedules published by financial institutions
  • General Insurance Conditions (GIC) of insurance companies
  • Register of lending institutions of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF)
  • Data from the National Bank of Poland (NBP) — interest rates, exchange rates
  • Data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) — inflation, average wages

Business model

Kreddo.pl earns through affiliate commissions. When a user clicks a link to a financial product and submits an application, we may receive remuneration from the financial institution.

Important: affiliate remuneration does not affect product ranking position. Rankings are created solely on the basis of the objective parameters described above. Products for which we receive no remuneration may rank higher than partner products.

kreddo.pl — loan and credit comparison in Poland

kreddo.pl is an independent financial product comparison service helping users make informed decisions about cash loans, online loans, personal accounts, savings accounts, deposits and mortgages in Poland. We compare offers from leading Polish banks — including PKO BP, Santander, mBank, ING, Alior Bank and BNP Paribas — displaying current interest rates, APR, fees and conditions.

Our loan rankings are updated in real time through bank partner integrations. Users can filter offers by amount (PLN 1,000–500,000), repayment period and instalment type. The instalment calculator helps estimate monthly repayment costs.

For those seeking quick financing, we compare payday loans, no-BIK loans, loans for indebted individuals and no-refusal loans. We also compare credit cards and insurance products.

kreddo.pl is an informational service — it is not a credit intermediary or financial institution. All offers shown come from our partners, and final product terms are determined by the financial institution. We track current NBP and WIBOR interest rates in real time.
