Często zadawane pytania

How much can I earn from credit card cashback?

With spending of PLN 3,000 per month and 2% cashback (BNP Paribas) you will earn PLN 720 per year. With 1.5% cashback (mBank) it will be PLN 540 per year. The amount grows proportionally to your spending.

Is cashback calculated on every transaction?

Yes, most cards calculate cashback on every cashless transaction — both in-store and online. Cashback is not calculated on ATM withdrawals, fees or interest.

When is cashback paid out?

It depends on the bank. Most commonly cashback is settled once a month and automatically reduces the card balance or is transferred to a personal account. Some banks pay out cashback quarterly.

Which card has the highest cashback?

The highest cashback is offered by BNP Paribas — 2% on all transactions. Among free cards the leader is mBank with 1.5% cashback. It is worth comparing cashback against the annual fee to choose the most cost-effective card.

Is cashback subject to tax?

No. Cashback from credit cards is treated as a discount on transactions, not as income. It does not need to be declared in a tax return and is not subject to income tax.
